The Impact of a Manager Inclusion and Impact Group at Coupa:
The Inclusion & Impact (IIG) Manager will oversee and implement IIG strategies and programs across multiple locations within a designated region. This role is responsible for aligning regional IIG initiatives with the organization's overarching goals, collaborating with local leadership, and ensuring that IIG principles are embedded in all aspects of regional operations. The IIG Manager will act as a change agent, driving programs that promote inclusivity, equity, and belonging at the regional level.
What You'll Do:
- Regional Strategy Implementation:
- Lead the execution of the organization’s IIG strategy within the assigned region, tailoring initiatives to meet local needs while aligning with company-wide goals
- Identify and address region-specific IIG challenges and opportunities, providing customized solutions that drive inclusivity and equity
- Partner with regional leaders to integrate IIG principles into operational processes, policies, and decision-making
- Program Development and Support:
- Collaborate with HR and regional teams to design and implement recruitment, retention, and advancement strategies that prioritize diversity and equitable practices
- Support the establishment and growth of regional Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and other inclusion-focused networks
- Coordinate and execute IIG-focused events, workshops, and training sessions tailored to the region
- Data and Metrics:
- Analyze regional workforce data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Track and report on regional IIG metrics, aligning them with organizational KPIs and benchmarks
- Use data insights to develop actionable recommendations for leadership
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Serve as a regional advocate and subject matter expert for IIG, providing guidance and support to local teams
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, community organizations, and external partners
- Facilitate open communication between regional staff and senior leadership to address IIG-related issues and opportunities
- Regional Leadership Development:
- Work closely with regional leaders to foster inclusive leadership practices and cultural competence
- Provide coaching and training to managers on topics such as unconscious bias, inclusive leadership, and equitable decision-making
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion or related roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
- Strong understanding of IIG principles, challenges, and best practices, particularly in multi-location or regional contexts
- Proven ability to lead and implement IIG initiatives at scale
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across locations
- Experience in data analysis and metrics reporting to drive informed decision-making
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed
