About the Role
The Revenue Accounting Manager is a strategic role that focuses on the overall Gross-to-net (GTN) accounting process, focusing on rebate programs, AR, payment tracking and chargebacks processes, systems, analytics, and data within the organization.
Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
- Assist management with commercial and other cross-functional teams to analyze and review contract proposals and incentives that may have revenue recognition implications
- Track and measure business trends, contractual agreements, and government regulations to ensure GTN accruals are appropriately calculated and timely recorded
- Support and maintain schedules to provide timely robust metrics regarding GTN rates, adjustments, and trends
- Support the order-to-cash process that include billing, collection, inventory roll forward schedules, and cash application
- Close the monthly and quarterly accounting close, including but not limited to; sales and AR reconciliations, COGS, GTN accruals and Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assist with the commercial GTN and order-to-cash accounting policies in accordance with U.S. GAAP and in consideration of SOX internal controls
- Maintain and compile the internal and external auditors’ request and provide relevant deliverables on a recurring basis
- Other special ad hoc projects and tasks as needed
Factors for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- CPA is a plus
- 5+ years finance or accounting experience with 2+ years of GTN accounting or similar experience, ideally within a publicly traded life sciences company
- Process improvement and process innovation experience desired
- Proficient with accounting software and systems commonly used in the industry. Preferably experience with NetSuite
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals, including cross-functional partners, external auditors, and consultants
- Experience working with large dataset, technically savvy with third party applications, PowerPoint and advanced Excel using data driven formulas
- Strong analytical background with great attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

The expected base pay range for this position is $93,700 - $131,300 plus bonus, stock equity, and comprehensive benefits. The base pay range reflects the target range for this position, but individual pay will be determined by additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
