Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Functional (job responsibilities)
Strategic Partnership
- Devise and execute plan to build ties with key potential partners fostering alliances that promote Islamic products that cater specifically to the Malay segment's needs, including deposit accounts, payroll accounts, financing products and wealth.
- Initiate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers to forge long-term partnerships, includes negotiation on partnership agreements and contracts
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationship with key partners and act as a primary point of contact and provide tailored solutions including upselling and cross selling based for business growth
Business Development
- Utilize data analytics to evaluate the performance of Islamic deposit products and partnership initiatives.
- Generate reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, sales efforts, and partnership growth.
- Make data-driven recommendations and adjustments to strategies to improve outcomes.
- Share market insights and customer feedback to facilitate product improvements and customer experience enhancements.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a coordinated approach to Islamic deposit product proposition and customer support.
- Collaborate with finance and legal departments to manage financial aspects and legal requirements related to partnerships.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure all partnership activities adhere to regulatory frameworks.
Managerial (team/group responsibilities)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, while also being self-motivated and results-oriented
- To collaborate with other departments to create a unified experience;
- To create an achievement-oriented working environment.
Organizational (organizational responsibilities)
- Continuous effort to bring in new business opportunity, building brand awareness and improving customer experience;
- Contribute the strategic planning process by offering insights and recommendations on partnership development, product enhancements and sales strategies aligning with the organizational goal
- Ensure all sales proposals are delivered on-time and within scope.
Jobholder Requirements
Education/Qualification
- Malaysian citizen;
- Diploma, Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Islamic banking products and principles is preferred.
- A deep understanding of compliance requirements within the financial industry is preferred.
Experience
- Proven experience in strategic partnership developments and management
- Strong networking, communication and negotiation skills to establish partnerships collaborations
- Excellent communication skills, especially in Malay, to engage effectively with the target market.
