About the Role:
Tubi is seeking an experienced, analytical and strategically minded individual to join the FP&A team. Reporting to the Vice President of FP&A, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the Tubi Financial Reporting and Corporate Consolidations; as well as implementing ad-hoc special projects. This role will frame the narrative for Tubi performance, requiring a deep understanding of the P&L and ability to form key stakeholder relationships. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker who has exceptional attention to detail with experience working across Corporate financial systems and setting the cadence for monthly activities. This role will have a high level of visibility across Corporate teams and will be integral to providing a high level view to the trajectory of the Company.
This is a hybrid role based out of New York, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of Monthly Financial Planning Cycles including Annual Strategic Planning process
- Single threaded leader interfacing with Fox Corporate FP&A ensuring a high level of fidelity and crisp explanation to business drivers
- Oversight and consolidation of all Tubi monthly forecasts, including review decks, reporting packages and upload into Corporate systems
- Review monthly Budget vs Actuals reporting with accounting, deep diving into unexplained variances and ensuring accuracy of accruals
- Script all Corporate narratives, framing Tubi’s overall story as well as identified Risks and Opportunities
- Manage layered monthly deliverables Calendar, setting cadence and tone for overall FP&A team
- Analyze key Companywide spend categories, developing deep understanding and translating into Budget/Forecast targets
- Lead special project initiatives across finance to derive value and efficiencies for the Company
- Manage high performing analyst and guide future development
Your Background:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in related finance fields focused on quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
- High level of proficiency with spreadsheet-based tools, including but not restricted to excellent modeling skills and ability to perform complex analyses with big data sets
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills required; with the ability to articulate clear, and concise narratives for a variety of audiences
- Sound understanding of related accounting guidance
- Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment; as well as work effectively autonomously
- Experience across Workday and Adaptive a bonus
- BA or BS degree required; CPA or MBA preferred
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is is listed annually below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, long-term incentive plan, and various benefits including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
