The Manager, Financial Systems is responsible for managing the successful implementation and execution of enhancements, fixes, and processing improvements to Prime financial systems. This position provides strategic leadership to the function and manages the intake, prioritization and resource allocation for client implementations and systems projects impacting the Finance division. This position partners with Finance division leaders and others to provide consultation and to proactively identify opportunities to better leverage existing systems and technologies, explore new technologies and systems, and develop innovative solutions to problems to help improve quality, timeliness, efficiency and cost.

Responsibilities

  • Establish partnerships with Finance division leaders to understand business needs and priorities, and to proactively identify reporting and automation opportunities
  • Establish strategies for automation or enhancement of existing processes and capabilities through improved or expanded use of systems and technology
  • Conduct regular reviews of projects and initiatives with Finance leadership and stakeholders to communicate project status, issues encountered and proposed solutions, and to confirm prioritization and resourcing is aligned with Finance division objectives
  • Develop and manage a process for managing reporting and automation requests, including intake and acceptance, planning and scheduling, managing work completion, and implementation
  • Assist functional Finance areas in developing new reporting and automation as needed, implementing system enhancements, fixes, and processing improvements across multiple finance applications
  • Manage staff to complete assigned projects on a timely basis and of high quality; develop staff to improve effectiveness and value of contribution to the Finance division and to Prime
  • Consistently demonstrate Prime’s leadership expectations during interactions with direct reports, cross functional and external stakeholders
  • Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
  • 6 years of relevant experience in Finance or Accounting, including experience in report development and/or automation
  • 2 years of management/people leadership experience
  • ERP and/or EPM Experience (such as Oracle, SAP, Workday)
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with all levels of management and with consulting with key business stakeholders, Self-directed, able to provide direction and manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud (Smartview, Reporting, Planning, Consolidations)
  • Experience working on financial system implementations and/or support
  • Advanced Excel skills, and/or experience with Alteryx
  • MBA
  • Previous healthcare or PBM experience

Minimum Physical Job Requirements

  • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to Director in the Finance Department

Potential pay for this position ranges from $109,000.00 - $174,000.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
