The Manager Financial Reporting responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare consolidated SEC financial statements and external financial reporting documents, including filings on Forms 10-Q and 10-K
  • Prepare standalone financial statements required for various reporting aspects of the business
  • Prepares and reviews account reconciliations and various journal entries and analysis for monthly and quarterly accounting close
  • Reviews results of monthly close, financial statements, financial reporting packages and management materials
  • Perform technical accounting research and analysis for new accounting pronouncements, new business ventures or in response to inquiry from management, investors or regulator
  • Maintains a deep understanding of the financial statements within the OneStream system, including maintenance of key inputs and reports such as the Statement of Cash Flows
  • Support SEC filings associated with capital market transactions, acquisitions, and divestitures (pro forma financial statements, carve out financial statements, etc.)
  • Assist in system implementations. enhancements and projects to automate, enhance and electrify financial statement analysis and SEC reporting content

Required Experience and Skills:

  • CPA
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience
  • Solid command of US GAAP, internal controls and SEC reporting rules and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Self-starter with an ability to quickly grasp pertinent accounting and business issues
  • Ability to critically review and analyze data, identify issues, develop and execute on recommendations
  • Ability to independently perform technical accounting research and develop recommendations
  • Experience with coaching and development of team members

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Prior work experience at Big 4 public accounting firm strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with SEC reporting
  • Experience with Quorum, OneStream, Workiva and Salesforce
  • Experience with regulatory accounting and reporting
  • Experience with adherence to industry-specific accounting standards
  • Knowledge of data analysis and associated tools (Power BI, SQL, etc.) 

Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states:  California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee unless willing to relocate.


Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
