In the Manager of Field Application Specialists role, you will be responsible for developing and growing local product application support team's capability to meet local focus market segments and related customer requirement, fit the organization's technical leading position with its image as a total solution provider. The holder of this position will build, manage, and lead the product application support team in accordance with the strategy, operational plan and priorities of the division to achieve the organization's sales target especially in converting and creating the new business.
What you will accomplish together with us:

Use technical knowledge and process experience to assist sales and application specialist in evaluating the trial / demo requirement and maximize our business opportunities

Establish and standardize trial / demo process / report from technical level and support the results converting to the real sales

Establish onsite customer installation / training SOP and improve customer satisfaction rate

Allocate and manage the application specialist resources in different regions together with sales managers in efficient way and match their regional sales plan

Handle customer technical complaint properly especially for key accounts and strategic accounts

Lead key products application development and drive the local application paper publication

Conduct research to define targeted customer segments and determine the key values that drive buying behavior for each segment

Support field marketing activities and monitor effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaigns

Develop and implement brand / product positionings, associated marketing strategies and themes, and media channels that align with target customer demographics

Maintain the relationship with key product users and opinion leaders, build up products reference list and user list

Provide training plans and improve the technical capability of individual product application specialist to let them become general specialist

Manage a team of application specialists and ensure the continuity plan for the whole team
What will convince us:

Bachelor's degree in biotechnology, biochemistry or similar life science disciplines. Master's degree preferred

5+ years of experience in life science industry with process development and manufacturing experience,
-
3+ years of team management experience

Proven skills of relevant process unit operations in cGMP bioprocessing
-
Good market knowledge and certain network in the biopharmaceutical industry
-
Excellent teamwork skills and proven ability to also work with cross-functional teams without formal authority
-
Know how to deal with the conflicts especially in dealing with customer complaint
-
Good training and presentation skills
-
Proven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office
