The Everyday Business Banking team supports the full spectrum of customers’ needs from the smallest businesses to the largest corporates. It has accountability for Cash Management, Payments, Business Lending and Commerce Solutions as well as managing the end-to-end business customer experience. The team is also responsible for the delivery of analytical capabilities to support our business customers.
Do Work That Matters:
As the Manager, you will be end-to-end responsible for the monitoring, development, and management of Controls, Risk Issues, Incidents and Actions for core and complex transaction products as well as for Merchant solutions. This includes:
- Monitoring the existing pricing and billing controls across Cash, Payments, Corporate cards and Merchant products.
- Designing effective controls for all new and changing processes and operations and support the business through the implementation and uplift.
- Reviewing pricing and billing exceptions generated through the controls established for core and complex products.
- Engaging all stakeholders in regular pricing and billing control governance forums to seek inputs to uplift the controls.
- Identifying, leading, and driving continuous improvement of the business control environment by using data to generate insights, and build a proactive risk and control culture.
- Recommending modifications/enhancements to business controls for any recently introduced or enhanced products.
- Ability to identify, drive and support Incidents, Issues impacting Merchant pricing and Billing.
Help us deliver a better future for Everyday Business Banking:
- Proven experience in financial services, risk and controls management and process improvement.
- Experience in SQL and Teradata.
- Domain and Product knowledge of core, complex transaction products and merchant acquiring highly regarded.
- Risk Mind-set – Responsible for proactively managing risks including performance of regular controls, robust control governance, identification of incidents/issues, escalation and swift resolution of incidents/issues including remediation.
- Essential - Experience in governing and managing pricing and billing controls for core/complex transaction products.
- Proven problem solving skills capabilities coupled with a strong ability be customer centric.
- Strong motivation with investigating and providing recommended options/solutions to complex problems and technical nuances.
- Ability to think analytically and use data and insights to make decisions and recommend solutions
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including the ability to progress multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Success in the role requires the ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
