General Description:
The Manager, Digital Collaboration and Productivity is responsible for overseeing the organization’s Microsoft 365 collaboration, communication, and telephony platforms. This includes Exchange Online (email), Microsoft Teams (chat, meetings, and telephony), SharePoint, OneDrive, and other M365 applications. This role ensures that collaboration tools and enterprise telephony solutions are effectively managed, secure, and optimized to enhance productivity across the organization. The ideal candidate will lead a team, implement best practices, and drive innovation in digital workplace technologies.
Essential Functions: 
•    Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for collaboration, communication, and telephony technologies within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and 3rd party solutions.
•    Oversee the administration, security, and governance of Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams (chat, meetings, and telephony), SharePoint, OneDrive, and other M365 services.
•    Manage and support Microsoft Teams Phone System, including Calling Plans, Direct Routing, Operator Connect, auto-attendants, call queues, and voicemail.
•    Collaborate with network teams to ensure quality of service (QoS) for voice and video.
•    Ensure compliance with security policies, data loss prevention (DLP), retention policies, and eDiscovery for collaboration and messaging tools.
•    Lead initiatives to improve user adoption and provide training programs for M365 collaboration and telephony services.
•    Manage vendor relationships, including Microsoft, telecom providers, and third-party collaboration solutions.
•    Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability, implementing improvements as needed.
•    Work closely with IT security teams to enforce identity management, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and role-based access controls.
•    Oversee procurement, budgeting, and cost optimization for M365 collaboration and telephony services.
•    Provide escalation support for complex collaboration, messaging, and telephony issues.
•    Stay up to date with M365 roadmap updates and emerging technologies to enhance collaboration and communication strategies.
•    Ensure alignment of collaboration and telephony services with business objectives.
Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•    5+ years of experience managing Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
•    3+ years of experience managing Microsoft Teams Voice and enterprise telephony solutions.
•    Experience in an IT management or leadership role, overseeing collaboration and telephony platforms.
•    Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security, compliance, and governance best practices.
•    Experience with VoIP, SIP trunking, Direct Routing, and enterprise telephony administration.
•    Knowledge of email security (DKIM, SPF, DMARC) and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
•    Preferable experience working in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry

•    Lead and manage a collaboration and productivity team
