About This Role
This role is critical to OutSystems’ growth and success, ensuring that Deal Structuring and Quoting processes are strategic, scalable, and aligned with IFRS standards and company accounting principles. As a key business partner to sales leadership, the Strategic Deal Desk Analyst will lead complex deal structuring, maximize revenue potential, and enhance sales cycle efficiency.
In addition to driving strategic deals, this role includes mentoring a direct report, helping them develop expertise in deal structuring, pricing strategies, and business negotiations. The ability to coach, provide constructive feedback, and foster professional growth is essential.
Work Hours & Peak Period Expectations

As this role supports APAC Sales, standard business hours will align with the APAC region, but flexibility is required.

During quarter-end and peak deal periods, extended hours may be necessary to support high-volume transactions and meet tight deadlines.

Ability to collaborate with global teams, including EMEA and AMER, which may occasionally require attending meetings outside standard work hours.
Job Responsibilities and Expectations:

Lead deal structuring discussions by collaborating with Sales, Revenue Recognition, Legal, Pricing Strategy, and Product Management to drive optimal business outcomes.

Serve as a strategic leader in advising on complex, non-standard deals, ensuring alignment with company policies, revenue recognition standards, and compliance requirements.

Mentor and develop a direct report, providing guidance on deal structuring best practices, pricing strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.

Drive decision-making and influence senior stakeholders by presenting insights, risk assessments, and recommendations for high-value deals.

Enhance cross-functional collaboration by building strong partnerships across Sales, Finance, and Legal to ensure seamless deal execution and compliance.

Act as a thought leader, providing guidance on best practices in deal structuring and pricing strategies.

Lead process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and proposing scalable solutions to improve sales velocity and operational rigor.

Analyze contract pricing to ensure a fair value exchange for both OutSystems and customers while maximizing long-term revenue potential.

Track key deal metrics, provide insights, and recommend improvements to enhance sales efficiency and deal velocity.
Desired Skills & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Experience: 10+ years in a Deal Desk, Finance, Contracts, or Revenue Accounting role within a fast-paced, high-growth environment (SaaS/software experience preferred).

Expertise in revenue recognition principles (IFRS) and experience with CPQ tools and Salesforce.

Deep understanding of complex sales cycles, enterprise contracts, and high-value deal negotiations.

Experience mentoring or managing team members, with a strong ability to provide coaching and development.
