Who We Are & What We Do:
Here at the Healthy Back Institute we are on a mission to transform the way people think about and treat pain. Since 2003, we have helped millions of people all over the world to claim their freedom from pain and start loving life again. Everything that happens at the Healthy Back Institute is rooted in our core values: Freedom, Love, Team, Growth, Excellence, and Courage. These values are the foundation of how we serve our customers and how we treat each other.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Manager of Creative to help scale our brand, performance, and content execution across multiple channels. You will build and lead the structure that transforms ideas into compelling, high-performing creative—bringing clarity, organization, and executional discipline to develop a scalable creative machine.
You don’t just lead—you execute. You move fast without sacrificing quality, hold your team accountable, and let data guide your decisions. You’re someone who doesn’t wait for a roadmap—you build it, rally others around it, and execute with excellence.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you’ll play a central role in our rebrand rollout and ensure our messaging, storytelling, and visual identity are consistent, effective, and deeply resonant across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of internal creatives and external contractors across copy, content, design, and video.
  • Foster a high-performing culture rooted in accountability, creative excellence, and continuous innovation.
  • Ensure creative output aligns with brand voice, visual identity, and business objectives across all channels.

Creative Systems & Innovation Management

  • Build and manage the structure, processes, and workflows that transform ideas into high-impact creative.
  • Facilitate ongoing creative innovation sessions to drive a steady flow of fresh ideas — prioritizing, testing, and executing concepts that deliver brand and performance impact.
  • Oversee production timelines, review cycles, and cross-functional alignment to deliver on time, on brand, and on goal.

Brand Stewardship & Cross-Functional Execution

  • Serve as a brand guardian during a high-visibility rebrand — ensuring consistency across every team, touchpoint, and department.
  • Partner closely with marketing, growth, lifecycle, and executive stakeholders to bring strategic campaigns and brand initiatives to life.
  • Lead creative resource planning — managing internal bandwidth and external partnerships to scale creative output effectively.

Required Experience:

  • 5-8+ years of creative leadership experience across brand, agency, and startup environments — ideally with a focus on high-growth, DTC consumer brands.
  • Proven ability to build and scale creative operations from the ground up, including workflows, resourcing, and team structures.
  • Strong track record of managing multidisciplinary teams across copy, content, design, and video — both internally and with external partners.
  • Experience leading or supporting rebrands and brand system rollouts across entire organizations.
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing and data-informed creative strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Expertise in direct response marketing creative for DTC brands, with a strong understanding of how creative performs across channels like YouTube, Facebook, search, email, SMS, and websites — including landing page and CRO strategy.
  • Proven success in developing and optimizing VSLs, landing pages, and content funnels to improve conversion and response rates.
  • Familiarity with or hands-on use of AI tools and workflows to enhance creative production and scale.
  • Mastery of project management systems, creative briefing processes, and cross-functional review cycles.
  • Strong understanding of holistic health, nutritional supplements, or natural medicine is a major plus.

Why You’ll Love It Here:

  • The People. You will be surrounded by some of the most talented, supportive, smart, and kind people, leaders and teams – people you can be proud to work with.
  • The Mission. At HBI, we are relentlessly focused on helping people live pain free lives.  It feels good to serve others – and HBI is the leader in helping people live their life pain free.
  • The Values. The opportunity to make a difference with teammates who believe in our core values of Freedom, Love, Team, Growth, Excellence, and Courage

The Benefits:

  • A healthy work/life balance and flexible schedule
  • Remote/virtual work from home position
  • Medical, dental, vision insurance
  • 401K Retirement Plan
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Flexible PTO
  • Performance based bonuses
  • Discount on HBI products
  • An amazing team-centered culture felt at all levels of the company!
