Job Summary:

The Corporate Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s purchasing activities related to IT software and hardware, marketing, corporate consulting, corporate supplies contracts, and other indirect spend as needed, ensuring cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining high quality standards. This role owns end-to-end procurement activities, including but not limited to early engagement with stakeholders, sourcing strategy development, RFP authoring, proposal analysis, terms & conditions negotiation, and purchase orders, in addition to managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Corporate Procurement Manager collaborates with internal stakeholders to optimize procurement processes and drive efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement corporate procurement strategies to support business growth and cost optimization.
  • Align procurement policies with corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and ethical sourcing principles.
  • Conduct spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement efficiency.
  • Establish strategic supplier partnerships to ensure long-term value creation and risk mitigation.
  • Supplier & Vendor Relationship Management:
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage key corporate suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and innovation.
  • Lead contract negotiations for large-scale corporate procurement agreements.
  • Develop supplier performance metrics and conduct regular assessments to ensure service-level adherence.
  • Implement supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives in alignment with corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals.
  • Corporate Governance & Compliance:
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Implement standardized procurement policies and guidelines across all business units.
  • Work with legal teams to review, draft, and manage contracts, ensuring risk mitigation and compliance.
  • Conduct audits and enforce corporate procurement controls to prevent fraud and policy violations.
  • Financial & Risk Management:
  • Develop and oversee procurement budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Identify risks related to supply chain disruptions, geopolitical factors, and regulatory changes.
  • Implement risk management strategies, including supplier contingency planning.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost savings, procurement cycle times, and compliance adherence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with executive leadership, finance, and operations to align procurement strategies with corporate goals.
  • Provide procurement insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
  • Lead procurement training programs to educate internal stakeholders on best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on procurement trends, market conditions, and emerging risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.

  • 7-12 years of experience in corporate procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.

  • Strong negotiation and strategic sourcing expertise for corporate procurement.

  • Deep knowledge of procurement governance, contract management, and compliance frameworks.

  • Exceptional analytical, financial acumen, and decision-making capabilities.

  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and change management skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple high-value procurement projects in a corporate environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Position will require sitting for long periods of time. 

  • Occasionally lift 20-pounds or more.
