We work closely with a wide range of Technology and Change teams across the enterprise to embed the right data governance operating models, tools and data architecture into the CFO business that will help us to advance on our data journey.

About your role

The purpose of this role is to champion and drive the adoption of Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate) and Gen AI within the CFO business. The role is responsible for providing expert guidance on the use of these tools, including recommending best practices and solutions to address specific CFO business needs, in consultation with our Enterprise Technology Services teams. Furthermore, this role would be instrumental in developing comprehensive guidelines and oversight frameworks. The role will focus on upskilling the CFO team in the mentioned toolset, by providing training, mentorship, and support to ensure that the team is proficient in utilizing these technologies to their full potential.  By fostering a culture of self-service, the role aims to empower the CFO team members to take ownership of technology solutions and data processes where possible, improving efficiency and innovation within the business.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to the CFO business to build competency in Power Platform tools. Actively participate in and mentor CFO team members in process excellence (PEX) and the Art of Possible, encouraging innovative thinking and problem-solving. Support key CFO data initiatives as required and End User Computing (EUC) remediation. Additionally, the role involves managing data sources such as SharePoint and other relevant platforms to ensure seamless data integration and accessibility. This includes setting up and maintaining connections, managing data flows, and ensuring data quality and consistency across various systems.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required

Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate with proven track record of developing and implementing solutions for business needs. Strong understanding of data management and integration, preferably with Snowflake. Proficiency in model development and support within the Power Platform ecosystem. Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to think creatively and innovatively. Good understanding of AI, with active knowledge of using AI-based APIs in other tools. Experience with large language models like Copilot or similar is advantageous. Working knowledge of any no-code/low-code tools like Alteryx, or similar platforms, would be beneficial to streamline and simplify complex workflows. Similarly, an interest or understanding in coding languages such as Python could prove useful in enhancing data manipulation and automation capabilities within the team. Previous experience in a change team or finance transformation team is preferred. Knowledge of agile and six sigma principles would be an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated success in leading and managing data initiatives and process improvement projects. Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve common goals.
