Job Overview:

As the Technology Ecosystem Partner Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the success of our partner ecosystem strategy. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Business Development and Alliances, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding relationships with key technology partners, solution providers, and ecosystem stakeholders to accelerate growth, enhance our value proposition, and ensure successful delivery of joint solutions. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and its ecosystem partners, facilitating collaboration, driving joint go-to-market activities, and ensuring mutual business goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership Development:
    Develop and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key technology partners and solution providers within the ecosystem. Identify new partnership opportunities and work with internal stakeholders to drive integration and value creation.
     
  • Ecosystem Strategy Execution:
    Work closely with the Senior Director of Business Development and Alliances to execute on the partner ecosystem strategy, including identifying potential technology partners that align with the company’s product and service offerings.
     
  • Joint Go-to-Market Planning:
    Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to define and implement joint go-to-market strategies with ecosystem partners. Facilitate joint solution development and ensure consistent messaging and value proposition alignment.
     
  • Partnership Enablement:
    Provide enablement and support to internal teams on partner-driven initiatives. Coordinate training, resources, and support to ensure successful partner engagement and seamless collaboration across departments.
     
  • Revenue Growth & Business Impact:
    Drive measurable revenue growth through strategic partnerships by identifying new market opportunities, accelerating co-selling initiatives, and ensuring that both parties achieve their business objectives. Establish KPIs for the partner ecosystem and manage regular performance tracking. Prepare reports and updates for the Senior Director on the progress of partnership initiatives and ecosystem development.
     
  • Negotiations & Agreements:
    Participate in negotiations for partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms that align with the company’s business goals. Manage contractual relationships and ensure compliance with partnership obligations.
     
  • Market & Competitive Analysis:
    Stay up to date on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Leverage insights to strengthen partnership strategies and to continuously evolve the ecosystem model.

Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
     

  • Self-motivated: Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
     

  • Technical Proficiency: 3-5 years of experience in business development, partner management, or alliances, preferably within the technology sector. Strong analytical skills with the ability to track, report, and optimize partnership performance.

The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.

Salary Ranges:

$118,125.00 - $219,375.00
