Join Aprio's Assurance Operations team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Manager, Assurance Technology and Innovation to join their dynamic team.

The Manager – Assurance Technology & Innovation will play a key role on the assurance operations team, managing the assurance tech stack, leading AI innovations, and driving software adoption. The specialist will evaluate new audit tools, monitor industry trends, and collaborate on reporting and KPI tracking to boost software usage and efficiency. This role will partner with the assurance operations team to ensure all new processes are documented and rolled out effectively and create reporting and dashboards to monitor software utilization. Ideally, the candidate will have an audit background and may work part-time with the audit team to stay up to date with industry practices.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop best practices and improvement ideas for technology and software across the Assurance practice. 
• Serve as an application champion for new and existing Assurance software. 
• Focus on AI utilization and innovations within the accounting field. 
• Develop processes for tracking software usage, identifying KPIs, and collaborating on reporting to develop dashboards. 
• Determine ways to increase software adoption across the Assurance practice. 
• Participate in evaluating and piloting new audit software tools. 
• Contribute to the selection of fields and metrics from CaseWare/Sherlock needed for reporting. 
• Monitor industry trends and competitor advancements in audit technology. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information technology, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in the audit or assurance industry.
• Ability to work part-time with the audit team to maintain industry knowledge (preferred). 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in the accounting field. 
• Proficiency in Assurance software, especially in tools like DataSnipper and CaseWare. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor advancements in audit technology. 
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
