About the Role
The Accounting Manager leads and manages the daily operations of the accounting team (or a segment of the global team) and optimizes processes as needed. They will collaborate with various cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment, remaining proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism.
Responsibilities

Provide coaching, goal setting, and talent reviews to direct reports.

Fostering a culture of collaboration and driving the creation and optimization of processes to boost efficiency.

Assist with Monthly and Quarterly Close: Drive the overall accounting close process in an efficient and effective manner and prepare and manage consolidated flux analysis.

Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations prepared by the team

Prepare and review materials for internal and external reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Attention to detail and proven ability to analyze large amounts of data.

Partner with other finance functions like Revenue, Tax, FP&A, Treasury functions and the Business for monthly and quarterly close activities.

Support or manage other ad-hoc projects.
Who You Are
-
Comprehensive knowledge and experience with general accounting, international accounting, foreign currency, month end close procedures, eliminations and consolidations, controls, internal reporting & analytics, and working with external auditors.

Strong technical acumen; US GAAP knowledge, conceptual and practical experience in researching, understanding, and communicating technical accounting issues.

ERP knowledge is a must and NetSuite is a plus.

Proactive, results oriented, with a can-do attitude and strict attention to detail in meeting critical deadlines.

Experience leading teams and developing talent.

International experience and prior experience in managing global financial monthly close process.

Ability to work on cross functional activities and form solid business relationships.

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
Minimum Qualifications

6+ years of accounting experience

Proven experience in improving processes and controls

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Preferred Qualifications

CPA or CPA candidate is preferred
