The Position
As Manager of Academy and Franchise within the NNI Employee Experience team, the primary purpose is to employ performance consulting skills to identify gaps, validate needs, and propose solutions for developing impactful learning journeys. This includes proactively managing learning journeys for Apis Academy to enhance the skills within the therapy area portfolio. The primary aim is to create engaging learning experiences that elevate product and disease-state knowledge, empowering our sales teams to drive favorable business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have performance consulting skills and experience designing engaging learning journeys aligned with measurable business objectives. In addition, they need project management experience. The learning solutions developed should be innovative and tailored to meet the needs of modern professionals and learners.
Relationships
Reports to the Associate Director, Academy and Franchise Employee Experience while collaborating closely with key Field, and Home Office NNI Employee Experience personnel. Partners closely with Low/Mid-levels of business unit management. Interacts with Marketing, Sales, Commercial Execution, Medical staff and other home office personnel regarding field training needs and proposed initiatives. Interacts with Enterprise business partners from functions including STARS, Human Resources, and Legal, Ethics & Compliance around learning and development needs. External relationships may include interaction with various outside partners to support In-House and Field NNI Employee Experience needs and/or facilitation. Requires matrix team influence on completion of desired project outcome (project core team, business sponsor, training sponsor, stakeholders, client group(s) etc.).
Essential Functions

  • With alignment from the Associate Director to coordinate and manage assigned curricula & measurement strategies for Apis Academy and other A&F programs within (low-mid complex curriculum and/or asset build)
  • Effectively establish, deepen, and sustain key relationships with divisional learning team and business SMEs to understand their business needs and related performance gaps
  • Lead collaborative efforts with stakeholders to define desired performance outcomes
  • Through performance consulting, perform needs assessment and/or training needs analysis by project
  • Monitor, analyze, interpret, and report internal trends; make recommendations for learning solutions for the division or function, as appropriate
  • Liaise and partner within NNI Employee Experience, Capabilities Leads, and Global P&O colleagues to design, develop, curate, co-create learning solutions, as needed
  • Liaise and partner with business management leads to ensure relevance and value of curriculum and successful learning outcomes
  • Engage in tactical vendor management
  • Adhere to content management strategy and create awareness of asset development within Employee Experience
  • Follow & execute established department SOPs


Physical Requirements
10-20% overnight travel required.
Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree required
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience preferred. Prior applicable Novo Nordisk experience will apply
  • A minimum of 1 year of L&D or relevant experience preferred. Prior applicable Novo Nordisk experience will apply
  • Excellent interpersonal/presentation/communication skills
  • Strong project management skills are required
  • Previous management/supervisory preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
  • Proven track record or sales performance results preferred
