What You'll Be Doing
As a Mainframe Applications Engineer you will:

  • Use software to automate call center and distribution center activities to make work safer and more efficient.
  • Write code to connect modern web applications to Mainframe systems to bring value to customers.
  • Leverage data to support product development and marketing decisions.
  • Build technical knowledge through learning groups, book clubs, and one-on-one mentoring.

  • At least 2 years of experience, writing clean, thoughtful, and functional code.
  • Interest in working with the z/OS ecosystem and writing code using COBOL, JCL, or REXX, interacting with DB2 and CICS systems.
  • Knowledge in C# or any object-oriented programming is a plus.
  • Familiarity with technology that integrates open systems with z/OS such as CICS web services and DB2 connect.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment with agile practices, rapid code iteration, and integrated deployment pipelines.
  • Curiosity and a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Interest in developing skills to lead projects and mentor other engineers is a plus.


Our Tech Stack
We implement the technology that best solves our business challenges, including COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, .Net, C#, React, Python, Kotlin, Swift, MongoDB, SQL Server, and others.
Cash Compensation

  • Total cash compensation is generally around $180,000 to $250,000 and includes a profit sharing based on company profitability.
  • You will also receive a relocation stipend and signing bonus.
