We are seeking a skilled and experienced MacOS Platform / Packaging Engineer to join our End User Technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the MacOS platform, including software packaging, deployment, and maintenance. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless operation and optimal performance of MacOS environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage MacOS environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop, test, and maintain software packages for MacOS applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain MacOS policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MacOS platforms and software packages.
- Monitor and optimize MacOS infrastructure, including resource allocation, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Implement and maintain security protocols and compliance standards for MacOS environments.
- Develop and maintain documentation for MacOS configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide training and support to end-users and IT staff on MacOS technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in managing and supporting MacOS environments.
- Expertise in MacOS software packaging and deployment tools.
- Strong knowledge of MacOS operating systems and related technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English (must)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Apple Certified Support Professional, Apple Certified Technical Coordinator) are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) solutions (Microsoft Intune, JAMF / Casper).
- Understanding of network fundamentals and troubleshooting.
