Starting hourly pay: $17.50
Base schedule: Mon - Fri 6 am - 2:30 pm not including Overtime
Job Description
The Saw Operator cuts necessary materials to exact lengths needed to complete door assembly. Employees in Saw positions are responsible for their primary position, but are cross-trained in other Assembly positions to provide assistance when needed.
Duties Include:
- Confirm correct color and finish of raw materials prior to cutting materials.
- Using table saw, cut aluminum extrusion material to accurate length within tolerance.
- Perform visual inspection of all material processed for obvious visual defects
- Complete production and data collection documents.
- Assist other areas when needed.
- Perform 5S duties as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- Able to read and understand work instructions and work orders
- Able to work flexible hours to meet customer demands when required
- Able to work at a fast pace to ensure production goals are met
- Able to read a tape measure accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic proficiency with computer data entry
- Able to stand for minimum of 8 hours
- Able to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
- Able to repetitively bend, lift, and twist
