Description:Responsible for assisting senior team members with planning, implementation, technical standards, support and oversight of Trinity Health’s Enterprise Collaboration and Conferencing Solutions.
The Systems Administrator I is also responsible for assisting senior team members with system performance and capacity planning. This role includes working with customers on analysis and decision making as it pertains to the full range of collaboration services including website and file management, audio, video and web conferencing, chat, and activities associated with the identification, prioritization and resolution of user requests and issues.
The Systems Administrator I provides technical assistance and problem resolution for Trinity Health's collaboration services by ensuring all phases of the platform are properly monitored and logged, and that issues are resolved and documented. Provides consultation to and works with the appropriate support teams throughout the enterprise and performs operational activities. Serves as a resource and liaison with vendors and clients, and monitors the implementation, maintenance and support of solutions across the enterprise.
Supports policies, procedures and standards for collaboration services.
KEY SKILLS
- Proven experience as a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Administrator, with a deep understanding of collaboration tools including M365 SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and related apps (not including Exchange / Outlook).
- Proficiency to support and proactively drive the optimization of our enterprise wide M365 solutions.
- Expertise in PowerShell scripting and experience leveraging Graph and related tools (ShareGate, for example) to automate processes and optimize services.
- Familiarity with continuous process improvement techniques to enable iterative service improvements.
- Bonus points for your expertise with Azure, the Power Platform, and experience supporting a wide range of mobile devices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Responsible for supporting team members, client users and others on assigned projects.
- Responsible for the delivery of unified collaboration technologies, which includes the management and functionality of audio, video and web conferencing services, instant messaging, secure texting and digital signage solutions, whether delivered internally or provided via an application service provider.
- Tracks and monitors the performance of various conferencing and collaboration solutions. Recommends and implements service improvements and projects.
- Executes software enhancements and upgrades for back-end infrastructure components, cloud, SASS based applications, M365 services, hardware and software-based end-user conferencing and collaboration solutions. Responds to moderately complex problems and issues.
- Maintains technical standards, policies and procedures related to the delivery of conferencing and collaboration services.
- Maintains guides and instructional materials and provides training for clients on the use of video and web conferencing and other remote collaboration technologies.
- Analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves unified communication application and equipment functionality issues. Serves as a resource and liaison working with vendors to resolve complex functionality issues.
- Responsible for identifying, analyzing and providing viable solutions to problems impacting electronic conferencing, i.e., staffing issues, communication problems, issues of concern between client and support staff, etc.
- Responsible for further development of internal relationships that improve conferencing and collaboration services including participation on committees and/or teams, as appropriate.
- Maintains technical skills and education in various conferencing and collaboration mediums (i.e. audio, text, video, and web) including audio/visual skills that would enhance the overall service offerings of the team.
- Ability to host and moderate large events including town halls and video conferences.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly the Trinity Health environment is preferred.
- Two (2) or more years’ experience working with conferencing technology including:
- **Video conferencing, web conferencing, and other remote collaboration technologies, (i.e. Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Creston, Poly, and cisco WebEx Conference Rooms and end points).
- **Audio, video and web conferencing solutions including text/chat solutions, Polycom solutions, Cisco/Tandberg solutions, IP/wireless networking, Voice over IP (VoIP), audio/visual components, and digital signage.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating System and Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively guide and assist coworkers and subordinates in identifying and responding to customer problems/requests effectively and coordinating projects with proper support areas.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate, present and relate with all levels of TIS clients and staff.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to interface with internal technical staff, client users and external vendors.
- Ability to provide technical guidance to others.
- Ability to complete work following standards, documentation, policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently on a day-to-day basis.
- Strong prioritization, organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Experience working in with a project team are highly desired.
