As we are growing, we are reinforcing our Funds team with Junior Investment Funds Lawyers (M/F)

Job Description

• Assisting in structuring and documenting regulated funds from pre-launch to post-closing.
• Supporting service providers and helping to develop relationships with them.
• Providing advice on distribution channels.
• Participating in corporate and transactional services.
• Collaborating with local and international Clifford Chance colleagues to advise, guide, and follow up with clients on their matters.
• Keeping up-to-date with client industry developments.
• Developing knowledge of related practice areas’ law.
• Being proactive and willing to take on initiatives and responsibilities appropriate to your level of experience.
• Delivering high-quality service to clients and building strong relationships to become a trusted advisor.
• Presenting complex information in a simple and concise manner.
• Assisting in negotiations and making informed decisions on behalf of clients.
• Identifying new business opportunities to grow the practice in Luxembourg and beyond.
• Supporting and promoting the firm’s strategy and contributing to the practice area business plan.
• Managing client relationships.
• Contributing to knowledge management.

Qualifications

• EU Qualified lawyer, admitted to List II or List IV or currently undertaking your qualification
• Successfully passed an academic degree in law
• First experiences (possibly during internships) ideally in asset management (particularly in alternative investment funds) within large local law firms or well-established international law firms
• Strong knowledge of the Luxembourg investment funds structures (such as UCITS, SIFs, SICARs, RAIFs, unregulated funds) and are eager to develop your legal knowledge and specialize in this area
• Fluency in French and English. German would be considered as an asset
