SHIFT: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm
*Available to work rotating shifts with team members - day shift, night shift, weekends, holidays, overtime and call-ins as needed.

ROLE SUMMARY:
As a Logistics Specialist you will be responsible for managing and overseeing inventory, service orders, deliveries, etc. while coordinating with various departments and stakeholders to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery. This includes tasks like tracking shipments, resolving delivery issues, and complying with regulations
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages storeroom inventories, organization.

Enters new stock parts entries into system and bar code for new parts.

Perform shipping and receiving of parts and miscellaneous items needed.(Fed, Ex, UPS, Airborne, ect.)

Perform all goods receipts and update inventory as needed.

Creates parts requisitions and service orders as needed to obtain parts working with planner.

Plant liason on between vendors and suppliers to ensure parts delivery.

Pick up and deliverer’s parts from vendors as needed.

Manage the internal repairs when completed to return to stock or ship out parts to vendors for repair. Keep up on internal parts bench keep organized.

Maintain all facility fuel and gas.

Run Recycle goods as needed.

Help Update SOP’s and Procedures

Actively participate in facility management Voyager Plant Optimization Program, Improvement Task Force/Committee participation, Safety Programs and Personal Development Plan.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
-
High school Diploma or GED required.
-
3 Years Industrial, Agricultural or Production/Food Processing mechanical experience recommended.

Demonstrates strong commitment to achieving company goals by focusing on Safety, Quality and Productivity thru Plant Excellence Program for continued improvements and standardization of jobs.

Effectively shares job knowledge and process changes with team members, department crew and management thru various forms of daily communication (daily production meeting, email, shift handover meetings, action logs, work orders, etc).

Possess excellent PC skills such as MS office, excel, word, email and SAP to perform maintenance part lookup, parts ordering, planned inspections, preventative maintenance and work orders.

Ability to perform and meet the physical demands of the position including but not limited to lifting 50 pounds and working in dusty and wet environments with proper PPE.
