The Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support the Human Machine Integrated Formations (HMIF) Project Office (PO). The HMIF PO will collaboratively develop two complex HMIF formations, one integrated formation for an Armor BCT and one formation for an Infantry BCT within 27 months. The Logistics Specialist will take on logistical tasks for the HMIF PO, including identifying specific mission requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities and services needed to support the HMI Formations, and correlating these requirements with program plans to assure that the needed support is provided at the right time and place. Additionally, the Logistics Specialist will be responsible for the movement of equipment from the Lead Systems Integrator (LSI) to the warfighters, including inventory control, transportation coordination, and ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all compliance standards. The successful candidate will support the movement of the HMIF Armor BCT and Infantry BCT formations and ensure the supply chain is in place to allow the formations to remain fully operational.
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for:
- Planning and execution of logistics tasks relating to maintenance, fielding support, manpower and personnel, supply support, support and test equipment, training and training devices for the HMIF PO.
- “Cradle to grave” logistics management to support a complex, major weapon system from concept through field issue.
- Leading a team of logistics specialists in support of HMIF PO objectives, serving as primary author of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) management and planning documentation.
- Manage and interface with logistics managers, contractors, training facilities and other services at contractor facilities and government activities.
- Inventory Management: Accurately tracking and managing all military supplies and equipment, including receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining proper documentation.
- Procurement: Initiating requests for necessary supplies, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Transportation Coordination: Arranging for the movement of personnel and equipment using various transportation methods like trucks, aircraft, and rail.
- Supply Distribution: Distributing supplies to units based on operational needs and maintaining proper accountability.
- Maintenance and Repair: Overseeing the maintenance and repair of military equipment, ensuring it is functional and ready for deployment.
- Logistics Planning: Contributing to the development and execution of logistics plans for operations, including deployment and redeployment phases.
- Data Management: Utilizing logistics management systems to track inventory levels, generate reports, and analyze data

Required Skills:
- Leadership experience for logistical aspects of DoD 5000 acquisition programs inclusive of: Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP) and applicable Annexes; Development of permanent Line-Item Number (LIN); Basis of Issue Plans - Feeder Data (BOIP-FD); and Business Case Analysis; Material Release Process; Product Support Arrangements; Configuration Management Plan; and Core Logistics Assessment
- Experience planning and accomplishing the transition of developmental systems to sustainment
- Broad knowledge of the Army Enterprise and functions involved in providing logistical support to fielded equipment
- Precise record-keeping and meticulous inventory management skills.
- Ability to manage large volumes of supplies and coordinating complex logistics operations.
- Identifying and resolving logistical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Clear communication with leadership, supply chain partners, and other military personnel.
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding and utilizing logistics software systems
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required
Required Experience:
- 5 years’ experience supporting DoD Acquisition programs
- BS in Logistics or Business. Additional years of experience can be considered for equivalency
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in the acquisition, development, and fielding of robotics and autonomous systems
- Familiarity with US Army soldier training and operational rotations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent communication and time management skills
