As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and monitoring the Daily Shipping Report to ensure on time delivery.

• Managing courier selection and creation of Airway Bills for parcel sized shipments prior to daily collection (best cost / lead time)

• Co-ordinating shipments by liaising with customer contacts, channel partners and assigned Freight Forwarders to arrange collection to their instruction

• Sales Order transaction activity in ERP system

• Auditing of export entries and manage entry amendments where required

• Holding management – Regular management of orders on hold, driving Customer Care representatives to conclude on holds to allow shipment

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a broad understanding of incoterms and customs procedures in an FCA focused role (Customs, Logistics, Trade Compliance or Shipping)

• Have experience using Harmonized Tariff codes or Classifications (Outside of EU would be highly advantageous to your application)

• Demonstrate knowledge of import / export obligations and International Trade Control

• Have experience of application of and use of Transport Management System (receptive to all)

• Demonstrate knowledge of hazardous shipment process & arrangement of hazardous shipments

• Possess excellent communication skills; due to the functions, departments, customs and varying data you will be working with

• Have a qualification in Supply Chain, Trade Compliance, or Logistics Management (this is not a requirement, but useful to have)

• Be fluent in English and eligible to work in Ireland, holding an Irish Passport/work permit with no requirement for future sponsorship
