Operations at TRACTIAN
The operations team is responsible for turning our IoT devices into reality. We strive to make the impossible possible and are deeply goal-oriented. We integrate hardware, production, quality, and supply and we're in charge of the whole manufacturing process of our hardware, from the purchase of components to the final adapting of our devices to meet strict international criteria.
What you'll do
As a Logistics Operator, you will be responsible for performing essential operational activities to ensure the efficient functioning of the logistics area. Your responsibilities will include receiving and dispatching products, organizing and maintaining inventory, preparing orders, and collaborating with other team members to ensure the accuracy and integrity of logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming materials, including heavy and bulky items, ensuring compliance with purchase orders and invoices.
- Handle, transport, and store heavy boxes and materials safely, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Perform proper movement and storage of materials in the inventory.
- Prepare and pack products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and safety during the dispatch process.
- Conduct periodic inventories to ensure accuracy of inventory records and identify potential discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other members of the logistics team to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- 1 year of previous experience in operational roles within the logistics field.
- Intermediate knowledge of computer skills for using inventory and dispatch management systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Docs, especially for spreadsheet tasks.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Interest in growing and developing skills within the logistics field.
Bonus Points
- Knowledge of good warehousing practices and handling of materials, especially electronics.
- Experience with SAP B1.
- Have a category B driver's license
