Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data on customers, competitors, and the logistics marketplace to identify trends and opportunities.
- Develop and execute market surveys, interviews, and other data-gathering techniques.
- Compile and present findings in reports, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders.
- Evaluate competitor strategies, market pricing models, and operational trends.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and assist in strategic decision-making.
- Conduct SWOT analysis and market forecasting for new initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and sales, to address market insights and align strategies.
- Stay updated on logistics industry trends, regulatory updates, and technological advancements.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Marketing or a related field required.
- 2-3 years of experience in market research or a similar analytical role, preferably in logistics or supply chain.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, or similar).
- Experience with statistical analysis and familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for delivering insights to diverse audiences.
- Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience writing market reports or similar publications.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams including Samsung SDS HQ Korea.
- May be required to work additional hours outside of regularly scheduled business hours or weekend or holidays to meet business needs
- Travel %: Ability to travel up to 10%
