What you’ll do:

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager trained to lead the management of the supply chain in an appliance company. This role will be responsible for the management of the finished goods warehouse, the management of transporters in Mexico and international logistics, ensuring efficiency in the management of a high volume of containers per year to Central America and the Caribbean. In addition, the manager will be required to plan, analyze and project the variable costs associated with the supply chain, guaranteeing the optimization of resources and operational profitability.

In detail, you will:

Warehouse and Distribution Management

• Supervise the operation of the finished products warehouse, optimizing space, costs and dispatch times.

• Implement inventory control strategies to guarantee optimal levels and minimize losses. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality and logistics process regulations for retail in Mexico.

• Coordinate the distribution of products to retail chains and marketplaces, ensuring compliance with service levels (OTIF, fill rate, etc.).National Logistics and Transportation

• Manage and negotiate with carriers in Mexico to optimize costs, delivery times, and service levels.

• Monitor transportation and distribution KPIs, ensuring efficiency and compliance with SLAs with retail customers and other sales channels.

• Develop strategies to reduce logistics costs without compromising quality or delivery times. International Logistics

• Plan and coordinate the high flow of annual containers to Central America and the Caribbean.

• Supervise export documentation and compliance with international customs regulations.

• Collaborate with freight forwarders and logistics providers to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

• Anticipate and manage operational risks in the global supply chain. Variable Cost Planning and Management

• Plan and project variable costs in storage, transportation, and international logistics.

• Develop strategies to reduce operational costs, optimize routes, and consolidate cargo.

• Implement logistics cost models to improve the profitability of the operation.

• Evaluate different cost scenarios to improve the financial efficiency of the supply chain.

• Collaborate with Finance in the preparation of budgets, expense forecasts and savings plans.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).

Who you are:

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Logistics, International Trade or similar.
  • Solid experience in Supply Chain, with a focus on retail, warehousing, transportation and international trade.
  • Experience in retail in Mexico, including operations with large chains and marketplaces.
  • Advanced English;
  • Advanced Spanish.
