Job Description
Responsible for managing the scheduling processes for the daily production of cabinets and the outbound delivery of those cabinets to consumer’s homes and customer stores. To assure that the network delivery providers are meeting plan and making continuous improvements. To manage the activity of the KraftMaid sale warehouse in Warren, Ohio. Working with our customer care department and sales representatives to assure the expectation of service to our customer is being met.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing and guiding a staff of 60 associates consisting of subordinate lead supervisors, supervisors, dispatchers and delivery scheduling personnel.
- Plan and manage the scheduling and routing activities of home delivery into all 50 States for our customers The Home Depot, Lowes Home Improvement and Dealers.
- To review and maintain office policies and procedures for Cabinetworks Group
- Interface with manufacturing, shipping, network providers, customer care and sales rep’s
- Orientation, training and on-site audits of the network providers warehouse operations and drivers.
- Control expenditures while maximizing available resources.
- To review and manage monthly chargeback dollars received from our delivery providers for loss and damage.
- Calls held daily with Cardinal and 3PD to review the performance of on time delivery, loss and damage.
- To manage the activity of the KraftMaid 80,000 square foot cabinet return warehouse.
- Activity such as the inbound receipt of returned cabinets from all over the country and to display for retail sale, enjoying the 2009 number of 2.8 million dollars.
- To lead motivate and win the confidence of associates.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Progressive management experience in the areas of operations, system development and customer service.
- Conceptual and creative thinker with excellent communication skills.
- Recognized team builder with a talent to inspire optimum performance from others.
- The ability to meet daily deadlines imposed on by manufacturing.
- The ability to meet daily home delivery commitments.
- Trained in Microsoft office and excel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Experience working in the kitchen cabinet industry
- Experience with scheduling and executing home delivery into consumers’ homes.
- Experience managing a large staff of office, warehouse and driver personnel.
