Summary
The Manager Logistics is responsible to manage all activities associated with the efficient operation of accounts. This includes P&L responsibility, ensuring customer satisfaction, compliance, employee relations and safety.
Essential Functions

  • Manage the performance of salaried employees as well as hourly paid employees under his/her responsibility, resolve performance issues, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine their needs and expectations and operate the account to meet those demands.

  • Be responsible for the payroll of employees.

  • Analyze weekly and monthly P&L statement to determine account profitability, and provide financial data and weekly operations report to senior management.

  • Be responsible for accounts payable, vendor quotes for purchased materials, and customer invoicing.

  • Hold Safety & Security meetings, provide safety training and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on the various work shifts

Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma/GED required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred

  • Three (3) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required

  • Two (2) years or more managing and leading direct reports required

  • Excellent knowledge of Transportation and/or Warehouse Logistics operations. advanced required

  • Excellent knowledge of safety and security requirements. advanced required

Le Gestionaire de la logistique est responsable de mettre en œuvre des processus solides de gestion et de gérer toutes les activités reliées à l'exploitation efficace des comptes de logistique. Responsabilités:

• Collaborer avec la haute direction et les clients afin de déterminer leurs besoins et leurs attentes et exploiter le compte pour répondre à ces exigences.
• Responsable de la paie pour les employés sous sa responsabilité.
• Analyser le relevé mensuel des profits et pertes afin de déterminer la rentabilité du compte, fournir des données financières et des rapports hebdomadaires d’opérations à la haute direction.
• Responsable des comptes payables et de la facturation pour le compte.
• Tenir des réunions de santé et de sécurité, offrir des formations en matière de sécurité et s'assurer de la conformité aux normes de sécurité.

• Effectuer d’autres tâches connexes selon les besoins.
• Doit être disponible pour travailler selon un horaire flexible sur les différents quarts de travail
Exigences:
Baccalauréat (en administration, logistique ou transportation. Une combinaison de scolarité différente et d'expérience sera considérée., Exigé).
Cinq (5) ans et plus dans la gestion des opérations d’entrepôt et/ou de transport {Exigé}
Développer et gérer des équipes efficaces. Excellentes aptitudes de leadership et de motivateur (Exigé).
Fortes aptitudes en communication orale et écrite. (Exigé).
Compétences et aptitudes supplémentaires. Bilingue, anglais et français (pour les emplacements au Québec seulement) (Exigé).
Bonnes aptitudes interpersonnelles. Excellentes aptitudes de communication interpersonnelles au sein d’une équipe diversifiée (Exigé).
Démontre des compétences en résolution de problèmes. (Exigé).
Démontre des aptitudes analytiques. (Exigé).
Excellentes aptitudes organisationnelles. (Exigé).
Capacité de prioriser, structurer et planifier les tâches afin de maximiser les efforts et de respecter les échéances.. (Exigé).
