Logistics Expert with SAP Experience (m/f/d), initially limited to 18 months

Position Summary

The task is to accompany the introduction, further development and support of SAP S/4 HANA in the production environment. The role is based in Munich and is initially limited to 18 months with an Option to join the team at a later stage.

General Responsibilities

• Supports the logistics teams with a focus on analyzing and optimization of internal logistical processes to prepare the logistics for S4 implementation
• Integration of features for digitalization and automation in logistics and receiving
• Improvement of warehouse structure incl material handling within warehouses
• Main processes and interfaces are in assembly, mechanical and electronical processing, testing,
• Helping the teams with implementation, user training and workshops
• Problem solving directly in production (interface production - SAP)
• Optimizing the process as like extended workbench
• Support for key users
• Standardization of the material master
• Presence at the Munich plant

Skills and Experience

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or business administration (or similar disciplines) and/or comparable specialist training with relevant professional experience
• Very good knowledge of the business processes of a manufacturing company, with the ability to map these in SAP
• Very good knowledge of SAP is a “must”, ideally SAP S/4 HANA     
• Very good knowledge of German and English is a “must”, written and spoken        
• Customer service -> customer is the internal production
• Good communication skills
• Change management - documentation, work instructions, process mapping
• Several years of work experience
• Experience in Lean Logistics and implementation of state-of-the-art material flow concepts
• Experience with AGVs and MilkRun Concepts
