Logistics is a fast paced, highly customer service oriented, that demands 100% accuracy and discipline. The Logistics Coordinator must deal effectively with internal and external customers by offering solutions to problems and logistics consulting. Dedication to completing the job at hand is an absolute must by utilizing all tools available, perseverance and staying cool under pressure.

  • Previous Logistics Required

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Logistics vendor base is selected to provide optimum cost controls and efficiencies to company buyers and sales staff
  • Plans and schedules / route inbound and outbound shipments to internal or external customers based on needs.
  • Act as liaison between internal and external customers, freight carriers, vendors and our DC’s. Ensures on-time delivery of goods to customers, by investigating and resolving issues
  • Controls costs by evaluating shipments, consolidating loads, and selecting the best / most cost-efficient method of shipment
  • Maintain transit log in SharePoint
  • Claims monitoring and reporting
  • First overnight monitoring and reporting
  • Updating and monitoring shipping weights in ERP system
  • Backup - Audit and approve invoices generated from transportation and 3PL suppliers
  • Work closely with other divisions to ensure services offered are effective and available including attending various sales operations meetings (sports weekly meeting)
  • Batch file label support – bulk label printing
  • Handle new projects/business analysis as assigned by the Logistics Manager.

We are pleased to share the pay range for this position is $26-$28 p/h. This is a temporary position from May through October, and will follow a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office, 2 from home.
