This position focuses on leading and supporting projects within the Kimberly-Clark North America (KCNA) Distribution Process Support Team.  Initial focus for this role will be the continued rollout and on-going support of SAP EWM (Warehouse Management System for Raw Materials) within KCNA.  This role will work with EWM-supporting team members in providing strategic, tactical, and operational execution aligned with business plans to ensure the achievement of KCNA Distribution Team objectives. Specific projects are supported individually or by providing leadership and participation on focused cross-discipline teams. Customers include: KCNA Business units, IT, Internal and External Vendors, Planning, Procurement, K-C Manufacturing teams, Third-Party Logistics.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide leadership and project-related work direction to extended teams including IT, Procurement, KC Manufacturing teams, and Third-Party Logistics.
  • Lead and/or support development and implementation of transactional and operational supply chain systems and processes in warehouse and plant locations, along with associated change management within large diverse teams.
  • Provide development, implementation, and updating of program strategies to drive new capability and continuous improvement within the KCNA supply chain.
  • Serve as key contact and functional expert for mills and third-party-operated warehouses to assess warehouse management system and process problems, shortcomings and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Develop a scope and depth of knowledge in safety, quality, and materials handling/warehousing technical expertise to investigate and drive continuous improvement and innovative solutions.
  • Support cost improvement and capability building programs to facilitate the achievement of KCNA supply chain cost objectives.
  • Lead or participate in cross functional project teams made up of diverse team members ranging from senior leaders to machine or lift operators. 
  • Create new tools or perform ad hoc analysis, as needed, to support various supply chain needs.

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering or related field; and 5+ years supply-chain experience, preferably with warehousing or raw material flow experience
  • Broad supply-chain systems and functional knowledge including supply chain, manufacturing operations, and procurement.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred; Ability to analyze complex data and identify root causes or areas of opportunity
  • Demonstrated ability to apply CI/Lean principles towards continuous improvement
  • Ability to collaborate with and leverage diverse, cross functional resources to achieve results
  • Travel expectations up to 50% during on-site project support times

Salary Range: $106,000 – $131,000 USD

At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.

This role is available for local candidates already authorized to work in the role’s country only. Kimberly-Clark will not provide relocation support for this role.
