Maersk India is looking for an Operations professional to independently handle export consolidation SCM business at Tirupur.

An excellent opportunity for the right candidate based out of our Tirupur CFS where you will be managing/executing the SCM export consolidation activities at our warehouses. You will also further learn and understand the customer side of the business and get following opportunities.
• Managing warehouse operations and meet customer expectations.
• Vendor management and interacting with multiple lines/vendors.
• An opportunity to liaison with internal and external stake holders, manage cost and encourage innovative ways of working and enhance warehouse efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure export consolidation without any service lapse and in a compliant manner.
• Efficient coordination with CSO/Terminals/Surveyors/CFS/Warehouse operator/trucking vendors/customs/transporters etc.
• Continuously reviewing the existing SCM process and implement best practices.
• Periodic customer SOP / IOP review and amendment/alignment as required.
• Co-ordinating empty placements for export stuffing with our trucking vendor, also follow up with the CSO for the DO and allotments with the respective depots.
• Constant review of the exiting set of SCM processes and drive cost reduction for the warehouse operations.
• Understand commercial side of the biz and setting up realistic expectations with CSO.
• Periodic vendor management reviews, reiterating focus on adhering to the scope of work.
• Ensuring the set IOP/SOP are followed by the custodian and surveyors diligently.
• Manage empty placements for different liners from Tuticorin to Tirupur and back.
• Ensuring the stuffing and the gate-in timelines are adhered to.
• Zero shutouts due to operations constraints.
• Continuously seek for opportunities improve current set of processes.
We are looking for:
• Graduate with Fluent English and assertive communication.
• Minimum 03 years of experience in export consolidation at the warehouse, preferably in the buyer’s console model.
• Good analytical skills and a strong sense of urgency.
• Result oriented and with an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good knowledge of excel and PowerPoint.
• Good communication skills.
• Should be detailed oriented.
