Job Description

The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for all Logistics Operations supporting business needs for the MSI Richardson, TX location. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage 3rd Party Logistics suppliers that provide Transportation and Logistics services.

  • Oversee inbound logistics of supply and outbound logistics of customer orders.

  • Partner with supply chain and logistics staff to complete key goals and initiatives.

  • Coordinate with project managers to deliver customer orders per contracted terms.

  • Analyze logistics operations for cost, quality, and delivery improvements.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Experience with High Value communication Products, Battery Dangerous Goods, International Air Freight Logistics, and Shipping/Receiving processes

  • Government or project logistics experience preferred

  • Excellent customer service, quality management, and process improvement focus


Basic Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree Business or a Supply Chain concentration

  • 3 years experience with Logistics Operations utilizing Air, Ocean, and Ground 3PL services.

  • Experience with Freight Forwarding operations and US customs formalities

  • US Citizen or Work Permit to legally work in the USA
