About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Localization Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Localization Team Lead, this role combines translation expertise and cross-functional collaboration. As a Localization Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless translation and localization of marketing content from English into Italian, maintaining our brand voice while adapting content for our Italian target audience.
As a Localization Specialist you will be responsible for the complete asset creation process, from start to finish. This includes localizing marketing content for our website, product localization, documentation, and a diverse range of other requests from within different NinjaOne teams. If you are a true linguist with a passion for technically challenging content combined with an ownership mentality and great time management skills, you might become NinjaOne's new voice for our Italian speaking markets.
Location- Bucharest, Romania or Remote anywhere in Romania
What You'll be Doing
- Human Post Editing of marketing, product and documentation related content from English into Italian.
- Conduct research into industry-specific terminology to ensure high-quality translations in a technology centric SaaS environment.
- Own the end-to-end localization of assets, including MTPE, SEO adaptation, UI/UX review, QA and adaptation workflows, asset finalization processes, and other localization best practices that make us stand out in our target markets.
- Collaborate closely with internal team members to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments.

About You
- Native fluency in Italian (C2+) and English (C2)
- Prior localization experience as a translator, interpreter, or similar role
- Excellent written communication skills
- Great interest in IT topics
- Excellent proofreading skills with a strong ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Proactive mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bonus Skills
- Additional languages
- Experience with SEO best practices
- Experience with TMS or CAT-tools (memoQ)
- WordPress experience or other content management systems
- Certification in Linguistics or related fields
