This is a servicing-focused opportunity that is essential in the successful facilitation and execution of daily monetary operations. The ideal candidate has outstanding attention to detail, with exceptional research skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. In this role you will collaborate with colleagues, liaise with other departments, and work closely with your team towards a common goal.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and processing state required notices (right to cure default letters, notices of strict compliance, etc.)
- Processing requests for loan modifications such as due date changes and extensions, rate reductions, and other circumstances.
- Account corrections of customer information such as addresses, collateral information, and phone numbers with internal systems.
- Reviewing return payments and loan documentation.
- Responding to external departmental inquiries related to respective processes.
- Payment corrections.
- Review and modify Autopay draft status.
- Process loan flat cancellations, review net trade accounts.
- Close out installment loan accounts. Responsible for the end-to-end PIF process. Prepare loans to move to PAID Account status.
- Handling of incoming mail relevant to processes.
- Complete account maintenance of loans including debits and credits.
- Occasional phone calls to dealers, banks, and customers to validate and/or verify account information may be needed with applicable training.
- Compliance with all federal and state-specific laws that regulate collections and servicing activities.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in an administrative, accounting, or lending oriented role (or college equivalent) preferred
- Experience and understanding of deposit operations and accounting functions is a plus
- Experience with customer transactions (POS, payments)
- Experience with DocuSign and RightSignature preferred
- Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) and or Google Workspace i.e., G-Suite (Docs & Sheets)
- Ability to master web-based loan servicing systems of record (experience with LoanPro a plus)
- Exposure to consumer, secured, and/or retail installment loans is a plus
