Board is currently seeking an LMS Administrator/ Project Manager to join our Academy team. In this function, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Board Academy’s Learning Management Software (LMS) systems, supporting our Instructor Led Training (ILT) courses, and some project management activities for the team. In this role, you will be responsible for LMS design/support, certification and credit card payment system support, course management, global coordination of instructor led training, and some team project management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize, update, and manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) to ensure a seamless learning experience for Customers, Partners, and Employees.
- Generate reports of training activities and participation from the LMS as needed to support decision-making and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives.
- Respond and resolve support tickets related to course access, login issues, and other learning system-related inquiries in a timely manner.
- Provide technical support for virtual machines used to host Instructor Led Training (ILT) Courses, including basic troubleshooting, course creations, and assisting global ILT admins with questions. (Done in partnership with Cloud Ops)
- Manage users and permissions within the LMS, ensuring appropriate access levels and permissions are assigned to individuals based on their roles & responsibilities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of effective training programs and materials as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest LMS functionalities to promote innovation in training.
- Apply project management expertise to organize and drive team projects as needed.
- Align with the IT team for cross training and support.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and skills in Board software is a plus.
- Experience working with LMS platform (Skilljar), various learning support systems (Certiverse, Salesforce, Stripe, MS 365), and Software as a Service (SaaS) customer success teams is essential.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
- Experience managing users and permissions within a SaaS application ensuring proper access levels and permissions are maintained.
- Expertise in pulling data and generating reports from LMS platforms and/or working with CSV / Excel files.
- Experience using data to support decision-making or evaluate program effectiveness.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate remotely with cross-functional, global teams.
- Prior experience in instructional design or training development is a plus.
