Holtec Decommissioning International (HDI) is currently seeking a LMS Administrator to join the Palisades Nuclear Plant team in Covert, MI.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
This position is responsible for the oversight, coordination, scheduling, and administrative requirements for all accredited and station training programs.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES 
In addition to oversight, coordination, scheduling, and administrative responsibilities, the Instructional Technologist is also responsible for the following:

  • Support all aspects of accreditation renewal process and activities for key training programs in accordance with station governance and industry accreditation renewal documents: ACAD 02-002, “The Process for Maintaining Accreditation of Training in the Nuclear Power Industry” and ACAD 02-001, “Accreditation Objectives and Criteria.”
  • Assist with assessments and audits of all training programs to identify potential strengths and weaknesses.
  • Perform Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation of the Instructor Training program.
  • Processing of training records, backup to the General Employee Training (GET) instructor, administration of exams, maintenance of Training SharePoint, support training instructors, capable of becoming proficient in the use of the learning management system (LMS), program management database and observation database, generation of various training reports, etc.
  • Resolution of line owner qualification issues.
  • Support refueling outages and emergency response team as assigned.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Current or previous educational/training and/or administrative assistance experience.
Minimum education required of the position:
 

  • High School diploma or equivalent or associate’s/bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.


Minimum experience required of the position: 

  • Two (2) years of experience in training (preferably nuclear) plus two (2) years of direct Job-related experience.

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position: 

  • Excellent Microsoft Word and PowerPoint knowledge
  • Ability to learn and use site specific Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Effective writing and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills (Project Management)
