The Opportunity:
Responsibilities
• Design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems
• Contribute to completion of specific engineering programs and projects
• Develop solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems
• Perform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
• Oversee complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
• Perform complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
• Prepare and maintain documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
• Maintain current knowledge of rapidly changing technology
EDUCATION: BA/BS or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
CLEARANCE: Active TS/SCI clearance required and able to pass a CI polygraph
REQUIRED SKILLS:
5+ years of related experience
Linux systems administration
DESIRED SKILLS: A deep expertise in one of the following areas and working knowledge of one or more of the other following:
• Operational support
• Virtualization technologies (VMware, virtual networking, vROPS, XenServer/XCP-ng)
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux, YUM, Satellite, Capsule technologies
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Ceph storage platform
• GitLab
• Scripting / Coding (Bash, Python, etc.)
• Kubernetes
• Ansible
• Helm charts

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$74,600-$156,700
