We currently have a vacancy for a Linux Specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks
- Support prototype and research projects where Linux Security is needed;
- Assist in hybrid cloud security automation tasks;
- Setup a Secret store Vault;
- Define and document patching policy for the Vault;
- Plan, build and implement the next DevSecOps toolchain version;
- Modify security permissions on a Linux system;
- Integrate and setup policies, via IaC, a system in the StrongDM PAM solution;
- Setup a new Kafka instance with security permissions;
- Define and implement Kubernetes security settings for new products;
- Delivery of tasking services with focus on Linux Security.
- Bachelor’s degree in the ICT domain combined with relevant IT professional experience of at least 8 years;
- At least 3 years of experience in the domain of Linux Security;
- At least 1 year of experience with Kafka/Kafka Security, StrongDM and FluxCD;
- At least 1 year of experience with Kyverno and RHEL/SLES;
- Proven experience with patching and SELinux;
- At least 1 year of experience with Kubernetes, TerraForm and Ansible;
- At least 1 year of experience in automation;
- Extensive experience with Kanban and Jira;
- Proven experience in DevSecOps, Security Patching and Certificate handling;
- Mandatory certification: LPI or equivalent (Red Hat/SUSE/…), in addition a certification CKA and a certification CKS;
- Excellent command of the English language.
