cBEYONData is seeking a Linux Administrator with AWS knowledge (Top Secret clearance required) to join a data warehouse and business intelligence (BI) team supporting our federal client. This is a full-time position with on-site work performed at the client’s office located in Washington, DC or Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and maintain Linux servers in AWS to ensure system stability, performance, and security.
- Implement and maintain DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines using Git and Ansible Playbooks/roles.
- Conduct, prioritize and remediate security vulnerability findings for RHEL servers.
- Configure Splunk for centralized logging using Ansible.
- Manage and monitor AWS cloud-based infrastructure, security, and application environments.
Requirements:
- Active Top-Secret clearance required
- 100% on-site, in Washington, DC, or Chantilly, VA
- 5 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of scripting languages (YAML, Python, Bash) for automation and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (i.e., Gitlab runner, Git commands)
- Certification in AWS, Linux, or Security
- Good understanding of core AWS services, uses, and AWS architecture best practices
- Application and OS security hardening experience/understanding (i.e. DISA STIG Remediation)
