- Work Schedule is based on a minimum 40-hour week.
- Shift Schedule is 2:00pm-10:30pm (Sunday- Thursday)
What's on the menu?
Kraft Heinz-Kirksville Plant is seeking interested candidates to fill the Line Champion position in the RTE area. The RTE Line Champion will perform various assigned duties within the prep and process RTE areas.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
Champion your line, lead level 1 meetings, ensure team is set up for a WIN each day! Work with and under direct supervision of RTE Production Supervisor. Become a certified trainer - Course led by Training Supervisor. Must be willing to work with other people in a team concept! Ensure self and team members perform all work in a safe manner and follow all safety and environmental requirements, assist with safety investigations, improvements, and ensure self and team members assemble safely during emergency situations. Ensure self and team follows all QCMS, SOP, HACCP and GMP requirements policies. Responsible for review of Quality Suite systems as well as assisting in investigations of unacceptable micro limits and with implementation of corrective actions.
- Effectively operate and demonstrate a high level of competency for all equipment associated with area of responsibility.
- Ensure systems are updated with accurate downtime information.
- Understand weekly schedule targets and coordinate changeovers as needed with minimal impact to labor efficiency as well as meeting compliance to schedule.
- Responsible for updating Lean Mfg. control charts
- Help to manage labor effectively during downtime events or other changes to operations schedule
- Assist with the implementation of projects in Prep area including SOP's and clean up schedules
- Connect with all members of the team and develop effective and cooperative relationships with all support functions
- Support a high performance and promoting teamwork
- Maintains compliance with Kraft Heinz - Kirksville Safety Policies & Procedures.
- Abides by all Plant policies, Safety Regulations, and Industrial Hygiene Regulations as a condition of employment.
- This position also has accountability for QRMP standards as outlined in the Kirksville, MO, QRMP accountability document.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Must demonstrate the following: Professionalism, high ethical standards, and a positive demeanor.
- Must also have strong analytical, organizational, administrative, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
