About the Role
As Roo’s B2B Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will define and execute strategies that enhance engagement, retention, and growth for Roo’s veterinary hospital partners. You’ll oversee the full lifecycle marketing strategy, from awareness to onboarding to ongoing engagement, ensuring seamless communication and maximizing value for hospitals of all sizes.
This role is ideal for a data-driven marketer with expertise in B2B lifecycle management, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and has a passion for creating exceptional experiences tailored to B2B customer needs.
Your ResponsibilitiesKey Outcomes for This Role
- Build and optimize a B2B lifecycle marketing framework that guides hospitals through each stage of their partnership with Roo, driving engagement and retention.
- Develop tailored communication strategies for independent practices and multi-location hospital groups, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
- Leverage data to proactively identify opportunities, optimize campaigns, and deliver measurable results that align with company goals.
- Equip internal teams with tools and insights to deliver exceptional lifecycle experiences, fostering stronger relationships with hospital partners.
Strategic Insights and Communication Optimization
- Design and manage communication strategies across the hospital customer journey, using Braze and HubSpot to power SMS, email, push notifications, and other channels.
- Analyze customer data to uncover insights that shape lifecycle strategies, improve engagement, and enhance retention.
- Monitor and optimize communication health, ensuring compliance and relevance across touchpoints.
B2B Engagement and Retention
- Collaborate with the product and account management teams to ensure lifecycle communications are integrated into the hospital user journey.
- Partner with hospital-focused teams to understand the challenges, behaviors, and mindsets of corporate customers, ensuring lifecycle programs address these insights.
- Develop scalable, automated programs that proactively nurture and grow relationships with Roo’s B2B customers.
Performance Tracking and Optimization
- Define and measure KPIs for B2B lifecycle campaigns, reporting performance and actionable insights to cross-functional teams.
- Use A/B testing and analytics to refine communications, optimize conversion rates, and increase customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a strategic partner to product, sales, and account management teams to ensure alignment and consistency in customer engagement efforts.
- Influence product roadmaps by advocating for lifecycle-driven customer needs and insights.
- Provide training and resources for internal teams to enhance lifecycle communication strategies.
QualificationsExperience and Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B lifecycle marketing, preferably within marketplaces, healthcare, or the veterinary industry.
- Intermediate proficiency in lifecycle management and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Braze) and multi-channel communication strategies.
- Demonstrated success in driving user engagement, retention, and growth through data-driven strategies.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Experience tailoring lifecycle strategies to diverse customer segments, including small independent businesses and multi-location organizations.
- Exceptional communication skills with an empathetic, customer-first approach to crafting messaging and strategies.
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing both strategic and hands-on execution work.

While we are a remote first company, if you are based in San Francisco this will be a hybrid role. Please see below for examples of compensation ranges based on state averages.

Colorado pay range
$95,000—$130,000 USD

$90,000—$120,000 USD
