Castle Peak, located in Eagle, CO, is currently seeking a Full-Time Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing activities for the residents in the Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facility. 
This is a Full-Time 8am -4:30pm
Pay Range: $18- $22 / hour depending on experience.
Life Enrichment Assistant responsibilities:

  • Plan and monitor leisure activities for residents in both individual and group settings including community outings and outdoor activities. 
  • Encourage, support, and assist residents to help continue their individual interests and hobbies.
  • Coordinate weekend, evening, and holiday events. 
  • Maintain an open working relationship with the resident's family/guardian.
  • Observe and document activity attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement.
  • Transport residents to and from activities of their choosing.
  • Coordinate meetings and record meeting minutes. 
  • Act as a positive representative of the facility at all times.
  • Assist with recruiting and maintaining volunteer program for campus.
  • Perform other related tasks as requested.

Life Enrichment Assistant skills and requirements:

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Experience in a health/human services related field preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a therapeutic activity department preferred.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Desire to work with older adults in a long term care setting.
  • Ability to manage diverse individuals and large projects.
