Summary:

Lending Operations Oversight and Control Reviewer position will work with internal staff of Freedom Wholesale and Retail Call Center channels. The scope includes acting as the central point of contact for all Quality Control and Audit groups who review and report operational deficiencies for the Call Center and Wholesale channels.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with facilitating the Manager Quality Assurance process and reports results to Lending Operations senior/executive leadership. This includes ensuring that each work step within each of the processes that may be encompassed in any QC review or Audit is contained within the respective checklist in the Manager QA portal.

  • Assists with reviews, responses and resolution of all Lending Operations audits that are performed by Internal and External sources.

  • Monitor inbox for Compliance Ease and TRID Monitor fails to review and resolve or provide feedback to staff regarding any input errors made.

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Ability to work overtime during high volume.

  • Must have ability to recognize and act on changing priorities.

  • Current TRID and Compliance related requirements and Controls.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Outlook, Lakewood (or other production LOS), Imaging/Paperless Document Processing, strong with Excel.

  • Client/Service oriented.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience in a mortgage/title processing environment required. An additional 2 years related working experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree acceptable.

  • Experience in Mortgage Loan Origination including Loan Processing, Credit, Closing and Compliance Operations specifically demonstrated within Retail and TPO (Third Party Origination) lines of business.
