The Case Production Writing Associate (CPWA) handles complex writing-intensive immigration cases, including EB-1A, EB-1B, and NIW. This role requires exceptional writing and analytical skills to craft detailed and persuasive legal documents, including recommendation letters and briefs, that effectively articulate how the applicant meets the required legal criteria. The CPWA works closely with attorneys and team leads to ensure high-quality, compliant, and timely deliverables.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will:
- Draft and refine detailed, persuasive legal briefs, recommendation letters, and other supporting documents for EB-1A, EB-1B, and NIW cases.
- Analyze complex evidence and applicant profiles to construct compelling narratives aligned with USCIS legal criteria.
- Collaborate with attorneys and team leads to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment in all case-related documents.
- Provide feedback and revisions to client-provided materials to ensure they meet legal and organizational standards.
- Manage case timelines to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Stay up to date with changes in immigration laws, policies, and case precedents relevant to EB-1 and NIW categories
About You
- Exceptional writing and editing abilities with a strong emphasis on persuasive narrative construction.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret complex legal criteria and apply them effectively to cases.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective teamwork with other team members, such as attorneys and team leads.
- Proficiency in using case management software or willingness to learn new technology quicky
- Familiarity with immigration case types such as EB-1 and NIW is highly preferred but not necessary.
Bachelor’s degree in any writing-intensive major (i.e. English, Communications, Political Science, Law, Psychology, Philosophy, Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing, Sociology, Anthropology, History, Literature, International Relations, Religious Studies, or any related field where writing is emphasized) is strongly desired (not required).
Specialized education/coursework in analysis, research, essay/report writing, that fosters critical thinking and written communication skills is preferred.
