Legal Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of matters as a Legal Project Manager, incorporating key project management tasks such as: planning, pricing, coordination, reporting, financial and budget management and client liaison;
• Deliver LegalTech solutions on matters within the Luxembourg office and across Europe, e.g., by applying our Artificial Intelligence solutions or setting up and managing workspaces in our deal and matter management platforms;
• Share good practices on matter delivery internally and assist partners/lawyers on the solutions offering. Nurture a culture of continuous improvement across the office together with a guiding coalition of partners/lawyers;
• Actively utilise different products on matters to deliver efficiencies, including on-going communication with key stakeholders to ensure product continues to meet their requirements;
• Work with LegalTech product leads globally in assisting with the successful implementation of Transaction Delivery and Artificial Intelligence (AI) LegalTech solutions;
• Identify cross-sell opportunities especially regarding other resources and matter delivery teams, incl. paralegals and Legal Technology;
• Raise profile of European LPM & LT team internally, with clients and externally by supporting pitches and client presentations.

Practical Experience and Skills

• Law or Economic degree plus 2+ years of experience in a professional environment;
• Good experience of delivering variety of client-focused projects;
• Numerate, with a good commercial understanding;
• Ability to present complex messages in a simple way and to create project plans;
• Good knowledge of business teams and practice groups at the firm;
• Contributing ideas and content;
• Managing key stakeholders across the firm;
• Knowledge of demands on specific matter types and how LPM and LegalTech can facilitate the efficient delivery of matters;
• Strong written and verbal communication, report writing and presentation skills;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel;
• Ability to build credibility and relationships quickly amongst team members and key stakeholders;
• Organised, diligent, with good attention to detail;
• Strong interpersonal skills. Persistent and resilient;
• Flexible and able to cope with changing priorities;
• Team player;
• Creative and forward thinking.

Languages

• Fluency in English, with excellent written skills.
