Job Description
IKEA of Sweden AB is looking for an experienced Legal Manager to lead the IT and Privacy lawyers and agenda within the legal team. The team today include an IT generalist, two privacy specialists and a sourcing specialist. You should have a law degree (LL.M) and at least 10 years’ experience working with IT and privacy matters at a law-firm or in-house. In addition you should have experience in leading other lawyers.
IKEA of Sweden AB is the company in the Inter IKEA Group that has the assignment to determine and develop the entire IKEA product range, including products, packaging solutions and related services. Each year IKEA Core Business Range introduces 2,000 new products within the total range of almost 10,000 products.
Your main responsibilities include leading the IT and privacy lawyers and agenda in concert with counterparties across the Inter IKEA Group as well as providing legal support in these topics. You will also be a part of a small leadership team for the legal function at IKEA of Sweden AB, where you will be expected to contribute to the development and management of the legal function as a whole.
You will belong to the Legal & Governance function at IKEA of Sweden AB and report to the General Counsel.

We want you to have:

A Degree of Master of Laws from a reputable University.

At least 10 years of relevant professional experience from a business law firm and/or as an in-house legal counsel in an international legal or business environment.

Experience within the fields of IT and Privacy.
