Job Description
As a Solution Architect, you will create, implement and maintain the design of digital solutions for content creation, 3D, planning and content distribution at IMC. You will translate the business requirements and ensure IMC always has modern, scalable, and high-performing technical solutions, as well as drive the implementation of systems in the development life cycle while providing technical recommendations for our digital solutions and infrastructure.
Your responsibilities and tasks will include the following:
- Develop Solutions and Roadmaps: Design solution architectures and create transition roadmaps that drive business outcomes for a rapidly growing organization, reflecting uncertainties in the future state.
- Meet Stakeholder Needs: Ensure solutions meet the needs of customers and co-workers while balancing factors such as time to market, functionality, technical requirements, infrastructure, and operations.
- Leadership and Guidance: Provide direction, leadership, and support to the team of solution architects, fostering a collaborative and effective work environment.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure all solution architectures and roadmaps comply with IT landscape architectures, policies, principles, and standards while supporting holistic decision-making through participation in cross-area design boards.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and recommend opportunities to enhance business results and improve digital solutions and infrastructure
Qualifications
We seek someone with a deep understanding of the interdependencies within and beyond the organization and a strong knowledge of technical drivers, business needs, and non-functional requirements. You are well-versed in digital technologies and trends, industry standards, application and infrastructure markets, and digital practices that can positively impact or benefit IKEA.
What you bring:
- Proven experience in a technical domain, such as developing or managing infrastructure, software, or digital solutions/services.
- Extensive expertise in designing and implementing complex digital solutions across diverse environments, including infrastructure, custom-built or off-the-shelf applications, and internal and external services.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.
- Advanced analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
